Alright, well, I have my chips now and most of my components. Now I need programmed PICs and K1 boards. Suggestions?

I have access to a local place that can make boards but I am unsure of the information I need to give them. I'd also really rather avoid programming the PICs myself, as that would require further investment than I was hoping for a hobby project.

Try Digikey for the PICs. I know they will program AVR chips before they send them out I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer the same service for a PIC. The board files should be on the github referenced in this thread
