Feezing computers by watching youtube has nothing to with the temp (here).
my 6950@900 MHz is running at 93C and totally stable with ubuntu
on windows there is a driver problem so that you cannot mine & use hardware acceleration at the same time.

catalyst 10.7 should fix ist.
