I think that was one of the ideals that motivated the development of bitcoin in the first founders, but the reality has far exceeded the capacity of bitcoin to respond to the demands of the current economy and today has little room to meet (with many problems and limitations) the increasing demands of a growing community, but still small. Therefore I think that the possibility of a bitcoin dominating the international financial system has been ruled out for quite some time, and today we should be happy that it still survives as the dominant currency in marketcap, although this may not last long...
