Here are a few pieces of advice that, should you follow them, will keep you safe from hackers.

First: Don’t rush! When considering launching your project — be it ICO, exchange shop, or cryptocurrency exchange — always remain attentive and vigilant. This will make you less susceptible to risks to trivial attacks like phiphing.

Second: Use only reliable antivirus, firewall and VPN systems. Always check the quality of your software developer: Sometimes what passes for free antivirus is a malware, which can infect your device.

Three: Store cryptocurrency on cold cryptowallets! And if you own a large amount of coins, it is a great idea you don’t put all your eggs into one basket. Divide your sum into small-to-average installments and keep them separately. If possible, use ‘cold’ wallets. Never connect to the devices that you don’t know are safe.

Fourth: Keep up with updates! Always upgrade any software you use to the latest version. That way you will protect your cryptocurrency against the latest threats. Reading the developers’ guidelines and precautions carefully is also a good idea.
