You can switch from cigarette to e-cigarettes, I have a friend who was a smoker he switch to e-cigarettes like vapes, but he uses juice with some nic and he  didn't actually stop using tobacco cigarettes, he slowly reduced the use of cigarettes and then he use e-cigarette. Now hes not smoking he's just using e-cigarette like vape.
