But the Ethereum blockchain doesn't have a built-in database ability. You said it - they can integrate with third-party projects if they want. Storj and projects like it are as poorly conceived and executed as any projects I've seen. More than MN coins, in fact, most ETH tokens aren't about utility, they are about $$. Furthermore, Storj isn't a database. It's a token based on storage utility and it's clumsy - just as the other token-based solutions. Having a decentralized database built into the infrastructure addresses needs that an Ethereum token can't.
