I am not sure if I understand the monetization part of the tournament. Would you give an example? Let's say I bought 20 tokens of player X and 30 tokens of player Y. How do i get paid if they perform well in next game?

OK. So firstly our system only allows you to purchase one of each player. This is to prevent player hoarding.

You start by buying players. You can buy as many or as little as you want. However, if you wish to participate in a tournament you need at least 11 players (which makes up a football (soccer) team). Each player is a unique token. In our dashboard, you can put your players together to form a team, name the team and make edits as you wish.

Users can buy tournaments (smart contracts) from First 11 and promote their tournaments. To participate, you need to pay an entrance fee which goes towards the prize. Based on the outcomes of real life games, you get points based on your team lineup. The top three gets prize and the host also gets a percentage for hosting.

As the season progresses, player values will fluctuate based on performance. Let's say player X started off the season at 0.0001 Eth, then has a few great games, his performance and by extension his demand will increase, thus increasing his value. So he may be now valued at 0.0003 Eth. At this point he can be sold for profit or kept on your team to help you win tournaments.

Does that make things a bit clearer? Feedback is appreciated Smiley
