Why don't you just post a
signed message with the address you mentioned to proved that you own the address not just posting any random address that contains a 0.5 btc on it. Or you should contact an escrow for the reasons like what posted above.
Even signing that address to show his ownership of it does not still guarantee payment. He should get an escrow. He is a noob and that is a dangerous sign running a signature campaign.
