I'm mining in 2 different pools (same altcoin Maple) in the same PC concurrently.

- using CPU for 1st pool
- using GPU for 2nd pool

Quite strangely, both CPU and GPU are handing out new jobs at the same time. Is this normal? 
Does this affect any of the hashing performance?
