I have seen similar thinking (wrong) from many other members. They think BitcoinTalk is Bitcoin, being a member of BitcoinTalk is involving with Bitcoin.

Folks,
Bitcoin is a currency. Think about the fiat currency we have: Dollar, Pound, Euro etc. Using Bitcoin you can trade (buy/sell goods) same as using fiat. On the other hand, BitcoinTalk is only a forum. Satoshi (creator of Bitcoin) started this forum so that people like you and me who love Bitcoin can hangout with each others.

So please do not mix up Bitcoin with BitcoinTalk.

Mixing up Bitcoin with BitcoinTalk is like mixing up Facebook (today's biggest social media) with the entire internet.

Edit: Inspired by vit05's comment.
