How much did the temperature decrease after lapping the heatsink?
Counting the cpu's improvements, I'm guessing 5-8C thanks in large part to the very uneven nickel plated finish I was dealing with.

Not bad at all considering I went straight to the 2000 grit after I ran out of the 600s. lol
Not heard of 'lapping' before :S is this basically polishing up the joints between the CPU and heatsink? (do you use HSP between them as well?)
