I think that launch of VPN service anytime soon is unrealistic, if you take a look at the current development status and the amount of work the devs needs to finish, they will need at least 4-6 months to release something useful. Question is if this coin can survive so long time. I was a large supporter of ITNS but currently I'm quite skeptic about future. Idea is good though. Market recovery is another topic and the question is how long it will last 
Don't be such a Negative Nancy. Looking at the current development status, it doesn't look so bleak to me. The devs are open and honest and share their development status, which is a lot more than you can say for lots of other projects. Furthermore, ITNS has a plan and a vision and they're creating something actually new and useful and unique. Yeah, that does take time to do right. The devs are on track according to the timeline of the roadmap.
