It is sad to say this but I think altcoins are not going to recover until bitcoin begins to recover, you need to understand that most altcoins are not really that strong and are heavily dependent on what bitcoin can do and the feelings around it and as you can see that is not really positive right now and I do not see that changing in the next weeks or months.
