Logically, rebuilding and rescanning was always likely to be the best option. Especially if you had made BTC transactions after the fork... That would confuse the hell out of Armory as it tried to use a database built on a different chain with transactions that don't exist on the current chain in use!

Just a shame the price of everything has dumped so much...
