I think not everyone who can for daily trading, not only the necessary strategy but mental and patience is very necessary to achieve perfect results, I am one of the people who are not yet ready for daily trading, because there are still many that to prepare one of the mental I'm still not strong and my patience is still weak. maybe I should learn a lot from your experience, teacher 
Daytrading will need so much experiences, times, efforts and knowledges. I dont think it's a fun at all because you're in a truely business which means you could lose everything in it if you're not enough serious with it. As you said, daytrading isn't for everyone , if they want to do the daytrading they should have enough the qualification that i said above.
Like op said, read his post again carefully, its all about fun. If you find it interesting you will keep doing it no matter do you win or lose. I don't know how to explain it, but for me everything is connected, trading, gambling, life, anything you do, if you find fun in playing football you will do it, sometimes you will win, sometimes you will lose, if you are interested in day trading you will do it despite everything, its important to find fun in it, something to make you happy when you win.
I practice day trading for years, not always and not everyday, but I have days when I just watch prices and I read what groups says, potential rises and drops and I enjoy in trying to make some profit in that game, yes its a game in the end, its fun game if you know how to play games and handle loses in proper way, to be patient and wait for big win and to be happy when it's happen.
