Well, my advice would be keeping your Bitcoins for next 3-4 months, and there you ll see what's going on then you can get benefit of it.

If he likes to play with ICOs, I will advice not using more than 1-2 btc. It will just keep you active on the space while waiting. During the waiting you can do the research also with the ICOs while you invest.
