I wish I would have known that you all were interested in the coin, unfortunately I didn't see that much action yesterday and the bid price was much lower than I expected. This is my fault, as I should have raised the starting bid to something I was willing to part with, but this was my first auction and I made a mistake.
I do apologize for letting anyone down, but I also thought there was an anti-sniping rule so I'm kind of surprised by the reaction.
That isn't cool at all dude, you sound like another member here who has a great reputation for changing terms on auctions!
I'm really sorry to disappoint you. I'm not trying to gain a bad reputation here. I thought that by putting an "anti-sniping" rule it would prevent the auction from happening last minute, but I was wrong. In the future, would it be better to set the anti-sniping terms to 24 hrs? Again, I'm sorry as this was my mistake.
You are taking this wrong.... they were not going to "snipe" because of the rule you have in place..... they were just going to bid late to try and obtain a good deal without showing too much interest ahead of time. You should not have canceled this auction merely because you thought you wouldn't get enough for it. Auction = Risk. In my opinion.... this thread = FAIL
