I would like to ask you a few things:
Are the developers still working on Dogecoin? Do they interact with the community here or else?
What happened with Trezor hardware? Wasn't Dogecoin supposed to be listed there?
Which Doge wallet is more reliable? I read somewhere that the devs let the electrum wallet "fall apart"meaning is not convienient to have it...

The Dogecoin developers indeed have been working on the project again, and they post mostly on Reddit. For example, here is a post from yesterday talking about the Doge-Ethereum bridge: https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/8bc7nv/dogeethereum_sidechaining/
The Trezor company unfortunately didn't want to add support for Dogecoin, but Ledger supports it, and so does KeepKey, so there is enough hardware wallet support.
While some wallets may not have lived up to their full potential, there are plenty of light software wallets that support Dogecoin. See the mobile wallet Coinomi, for example.
