I think this is an arbitrary statement because anything can end except BTC because it is immortal and it is an asset, an resource which could never be exhausted. BTC has provided employment to millions of people and give them a way of living. Though in present scenario, the valuation is quite deflating but it doesn't mean that BTC could not last forever, it will and will become the universal mode of transaction in the entire world.
