At first start the GUI wallet tries to download the Zen proving key (900 MB). The key file is:

https://zensystem.io/downloads/sprout-proving.key

Somehow download failed due to no connection. Could you try to download this file with a browser. If that works, you may start the wallet again and let it download the file. If download works in a browser but not in the wallet ... this would be very unexpected.
