it requires skills to do TA,
but my stock trader friend usually tell me
"Buy Rumours, Sell the news"

I observe that works. Check out what is pumping Verge for the past 2 weeks, rumours of partnership. Once whatever partnership is announce, i guess it will dump.

It works too on exchange listing rumours.

They all play out well if you get the rumours and take a good position early.
