A lot of people ignore the fact that XMR is one of the most practical cryptos out there that actually resolves a huge issue, which is anonymous transactions. And its team is a group of developers that aren't content with making money, but rather delivering what they promise. They don't overhype their project either, which is a rare feat in the current market.

To me, Monero has the best team. Not the best tech, but the most useful tech.

ETH as big as it is obviously has got a great team and tech as well, not to discount them from the discussion.
