No, I will never provide a GPU miner, since it will only further consolidate mining into even fewer hands.

Regarding pool: The Spread-Mechanism makes pool-operation difficult, so don't expect my help there either.

My goal is to extend the CPU-mining-phase as long as possible. Maybe even indefinitely (which will require hash algo updates).

More infos soon.

And thanks to the guy that made that recent 20 Zettel donation!

Some unsolicited thoughts on extending CPU mining...

This is not a criticism of your goals or statement that they aren't currently met... Clearly people are mining reasonably on CPU today, so thank you for that. At the same time, the algo you're using can quite easily be supported on GPU. I thought of doing that, but abandoned the idea of putting any time into it when I saw your statement about changing to something else. If that was your intent, it worked on me Wink. SpreadDoubleKetchup is a tiny bit harder to port than some other well known algos, just because most simple devs won't be able to cut and paste the Keccak hash of a length greater than 72. A lot of others will. I'm probably slower than other devs on that kind of thing, and I'm surprised there isn't GPU software available already. If you plan to keep it CPU-friendly, I think it would have to be credibly hard to port to GPU, which it isn't now, and you'd still likely have to change periodically. Otherwise, CPU miners who believe in you will get blindsided by stealth GPU miners, which is similar to what GPU miners experience with ASICs and isn't likely to drive decentralization. JMHO.
