So reading threw the medium article got me confused a little , I see that the whole project build on assumption . You assumed that there is already established freelancer network that the whole project gonna be build upon it . I like the idea a lot but to achieve it there should be a big wide spread freelancer network , How you will manage this in this hard industry !! The competition in the freelancer industry is brutal with all this big player in the field!
I think they designed the concept of decentralized M&A to quickly achieve this scale.
Basically, from what I understand,
1) they will help up and coming platforms do ICO on the Blue Whale platform
2) they will partner with existing marketplace platform by doing token swaps: simon yu from stormx is an advisor. So good chance
3) all their partners already have existing user base which definately helps
I think its a pretty decent way to build this network
