Chances are the Mod who handles the ticket can't ban the user. Most Mods can only nuke Newbies. The post will get deleted, but the user won't get banned.

Only admins can ban. we have one active admin. don't spam them. moderators could tell global mods and the admin for the ban. if you are adding a sticky for this, add one for merit related moaning.
