I care and help with what little I can, it's very sad and I am grateful everyday for what I have and know it could always be worse... but it seems so hopeless. We are an out of control organism that is destroying our planet with our greed and stupidity. Until we get our spiraling population under control and move on from a society dependent on money and slaves there will never be enough resources or money for everyone, and there will always be more and more people suffering and dying as a result.

Also it seems no matter how far we progress we always seem to end up in some ridiculous end-of-world war only to repeat this process.

It's scary how big the inequality has gotten.

"42 people hold as much wealth as the 3.7 billion who make up the poorest half of the world's population"

The people that have millions of dollars to spare should be stepping up way more, but we are greedy selfish bastards in the end.
