I suppose in the beginning of the decade, when crypto and bitcoin weren't well-known, bitcointalk was the hub to join in order to understand and innovate crypto... but back then the only people getting into bitcoin were coders, deep web enthusiasts, and some people who were bore. So it was very niche.
But fast-forward ten years later, and bitcoin's hit the media outlets like fox news and instagram. So, naturally, all the work-at-home foreigners who plague the Neobux and Clixsense scenes are now clamoring at bitcointalk's gates looking for fast cash and a shot at the end of their poverty.
It's only natural that 90% of people trying to get into crypto are non-niche people just trying to make a quick flip or spam the heck out of the internet or a couple of $.
