Many miners are on the other side, like myself, we have reached our mining cap and are are no longer mining. For those waiting, if you work on your Social Proof you will be activated sooner and be activated at a higher Echelon Level thus able to mine more coins. Because of that, and since there are still a few months of Alpha left, miners not yet mining can still 'catch up' to those who started earlier, and we can all roll into Beta having mined all the way up to our limits.
