Truckcoin is  a fork of x11coin, a formerly pos coin with a small POS return of 3,33%

"I was wondering the same thing. However, I can tell you this: I got really sick of these PoS coins that gave you 1-3% interest in a year. If you want those kinds of measly returns, go put your money in a freaking fiat bank. 

It's not fair that the only people who can make money mining these coins are the ones that have huge gpu/asic/fpga farms.  I wanted to give the average joe trucker something he could buy and make a *reasonable* amount of money on. This coin will give you what, 0.75% a day? That seems pretty good. if you have 1000 coins, you'll get a respectable 7.5 coins per day just for holding onto them.  I think this will encourage people to mine and store/buy and pull them off the exchanges, thus driving the price up further. 

Honestly, can any of you say you actually held one of the low % PoS coins for any length of time just to get the interest reward? Likely not, as it is much more profitable to dump that coin and move on to the much more profitable coin flavor of the day for a quick pump/dump. I'm really hoping that people will hold onto this coin because the reward is significant.
