I do not think Altcoin future is in the traditional banking system though Altcoin future will partly depend on the success of Bitcoin. The future of finances and investing would be totally different from what we are seeing to presently! Cryptocurrency will be running in parallel to fiat and cryptocurrency would probably win because it smart, effective better and cheap! Yes of course! They really have a future, even some altcoins where fails in getting there success some of them take other people to the moon I mean some altcoins give the people to take them a big earnings in terms of holding them for a long time that's why some investors like to invest their money in some altcoins that they see their investments will grow.
It depends on the altcoin that you are talking about. If you talk about eth, then I can say for sure that eth will go beyond our imagination and will pursue the footsteps of btc. So it is better for us to invest into eth right now, when the time is right. Maybe the price of eth is currently going down right now. But you must keep in mind that all altcoins price always depend on the btc price. So you do not need to worry about eth. In the other hand, there are a lot of altcoins out there especially some new project from various ico that create a lot of various new altcoins. Maybe it is time for altcoin to evolve and not just follow trend.
