Bottom cannot really be called yet until we start seeing full recovery. However, there is still a lot of instability with bitcoin which simply means anything can happen at any point in time. However, looking at the way the alts have been responding lately, it seems a lot of traders are already beginning to accumulate but I would not expect any bull run immediately at least for now.

It is good to know that we are getting close to the point where things turn out green. Probably altcoin have escaped from the bear market, but it is too early to know if they have or not. Most altcoins were doing well since bitcoin was a bit stable and considering the next movement.

But with the recent spike above the downtrend, that actually affected most of them and they ended up having a little drop in value. My point is, most alts are kind of attached to the movement of bitcoin and they only do well when bitcoin consolidates.
