Keep this in mind when holding Altcoins for medium and long term and choose wisely. Altcoin is not meant to be long term. If it is then its just a reason made up to enter a trade. 
perhaps ,but holding it for long term is a good idea especially if you have a low amount of altcoin. But to assure it will in increase in the future must make some research first before buying it, 'cause most altcoin nowadays turn to shitcoin. So much better to make some research about the project to prevent wasting time, and to assure it will grow and you can earn more profits from it in the future.
