Litecoin is faster, monero is more private, ETH has smart contracts and there are much more altcoin with much more features, even Bitcoin Cash is faster than Bitcoin, but BTC keeps rising much faster.

Its not because of the name. The reason why bitcoin is still at the top 1 crypto based on coinmarketcap is because bitcoin is the father/mother of all crypto currency. ETH,XMR,BCH and LTC are just a copy of bitcoin in upgraded manner.
And because of this. bitcoin becomes the digital storage of wealth. Thats the real reason
indeed.. Bitcoin still has the highest demand in the markets and become the most valuable asset of investment. all those features of altcoins can not make altcoins be better than bitcoin. it can not be said "just because of the name" when the altcoins can not independently stand on its own. blockchain always develops which always support bitcoin. this is why bitcoin is always the best.
