I think the main reason is because of it's value.  As of today Bitcoin has the highest value in all crypto coin so people see that as a great factor or opportunity to earn a lot of money . Aside from that , bitcoin is the most popular among the other coin so people easily choose bitcoin than choosing other coin that they rarely heard.
