So VERGE paid PornHub 5 million $USD and this is a good thing? This will give crypto a bad name. PornHub is just selling it back to the Verge devs.
I don't see the issue, crypto as a standard shopping coin has rarely worked out, it is just easier to use your bank card or credit card for day to day transactions. The porn industry however is massive, and people are less likely to want to pay via credit card and have it show up on their statement. So with XVG being privacy-focused it really does make sense partnership-wise. I always thought Crypto is better suited to gambling, porn etc myself.
It is a big announcement. The subsequent fall in price is normal for crypto, the rumour is usually more profitable than that fact itself.
I see this as a good deal for Verge and I expect the future value to benefit from it too.
After vising the pornhub I found that it is really a bigger achievement of verge as you can see on their front page they are advertising for verge currency and when someone try to upgrade then they provide the payment option as verge in first. The best thing is that there is
so these visitors will know about verge and they will adopt this currency if not today then tomorrow. It will make this coin as adoptable by that large community. By 80 million visits means verge is being seen 80 millions times on just that website and so thing how much more will give visits to verge on the other two sites of that partner.
