Its a shitcoin that is being airdroped to those who spam how good marine coin is,same thing that happened with deeponion few months ago here...Those coins airdroped to thier spamers like 97% of total coin suply so people spam here thinking that it might worth anything 
at least its fair distribution though. I remember raiblocks (now nano) did fair distribution as well and it worked out pretty well. It still a hell of lot better then a scammy ICO with greedy devs since its free. I still remember when eth was called a shitcoin scam as well lol.
I agree with you. fair distribution is the most important thing and Mtc is trying hard to make a fully fair distribution.
