Bitcoin is really good for long term investment and that is the reason why most of the traders are investing, its because of the markets volatility that make's different coins in the market become profitable.
I think to take advantage of volatile bitcoin prices to serve as a source of profit is not long term investment. Long term investment for bitcoin is good, but the profit we get is only in the future, not this time. But if trading we can get profit in the time of day, and possibly also for the future we will get advantage also because of bitcoin price rise, different when we buy bitcoin at the beginning of time.
