Woot!!! Another sub-100!!! Great work, zuraBTC! Most definitely a great way to kick off a l-o-o-o-n-g
BTCig BTClock Weekend!!!The impatient ones don't think to whine about the long blocks now - they have their fix for the moment.
Personally, I'm new to crypto & mining; been doing it less than a year. When I came in, it was with one rule - don't put any more funds into it than I can afford to give away.
I started mining at Kano Pool at the beginning of February's
BTClock of Death. I wasn't planning on
that, but I mined on.

The
BTClock we just minted justified my decision - if you take all the shares I've submitted, add them up, and run them against any other pool,
I received more rewards here than I would have at any other pool. Only one caveat - past performance cannot predict future earnings.
So, I may not like it, but I don't have a problem with 500% block.
What's a good failover?
I currently have it in order:
:3333
:80
:81
but the :81 is showing dead.
It was suggested to me to fail over to different nodes; i.e., I run pool 0 NYA, pool 1 US, pool 2 NL, instead of ports on the same node.
Edit: It's not worth the trouble for me to fail over outside of Kano, especially since the likelihood of
three nodes being down is almost nil.
MINE ON!!!
