I agree with you, new comers right now should not worry of being late because they still have today and a whole bunch of time to make up for their absences when bitcoins were still so cheap. Clearly, bitcoins are still on a big sale as of the moment and everyone is given an equal amount of chance to be able to take advantage of this moment.
