Already some countries are doing it, Venezuela is taking the first steps, although for the wrong reasons; but they point to that.

I don't think that Venezuela would do that. Bitcoin is a digital currency, a decentralized one, if a country will be using that, that means its economy will be dependent on a decentralized and a volatile digital currency and that is a big problem. Whales will be able to control that country, that is horrifying.
