Airdrops did involve some kind of risk, you may put your credential or personal data in danger by entering into a random scammy airdrop that you will more likely to ended up got into a spam cycle and your data will be sold in the dark web. Just always beware when entering such things because your data is worth more than what will you get by selling the token you get from airdrop.

Nowadays, even airdrops and bounty is no longer safe yes indeed we don't invest money just our time and effort, but in the other hands
some of those bounties are now asking for some important information, and just like what you have said, it's better to assess and review first
those project that you will be going to support avoiding to endanger your private details.
