Bitcoin ain't something that can be compared to social networks, my personal favorite comparison for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general is that they are to the banking and economy systems what was internet to the world, a revolution ! Bitcoin was made by Satoshi to give people the power and the freedom, the power to store their money in a coin that cannot be controller by any government or any centralized system, and the freedom to move that money however they like without being watched and controlled. Bitcoin is 9 years old soon and it's not even yet a mature currency but it has matured in terms of popularity and confidence that people gave in it.
Hahaha, you use coma and point on your post to get more words. I agree that there are a lot of coins that are technologically superior to bitcoin in almost every way. I see your intentions. The only thing bitcoin has going from them is that they have the first mover advantage. But that is okay, I do not really care about that. Specially if you want bitcoin to be a currency, most people don't care that bitcoin was the first one. I hope you will get paid for that. They will just use whatever is forced upon them because they don't know any better. And there is not problem with your campaign, hahaha. I hope I will make good profit from btc too.
