Currently, yes. The token sale is being conducted on the ERC20 platform. However, in later stages these coins can be converted to Spike tokens, which will be used as a currency in order to use the platforms services. In addition, they will be the tokens listed on exchanges. Mining is necessary in order to provide storage for AI models as well as computing power in order to train them. Due to our consensus algorithm, miners will be paid through storage of the blockchain and by providing their GPUs for model training.
