I think newbies are able to receive merit if they can post in high quality, however for the tips above feeling weird for no 4....OP says that try to avoid participating in sigcam in other side there is signature in the profile....funny to me. 
Newbies and juniors should avoid joining signature campaigns. The reasons are that they are still new and the signature campaigns need better exposure for the business which initiated them. On the other hand newbies should work getting to know the forum and how everything works here. Read more than you write posts. Gradually you will be able to make constructive posts and in turn get merits to rank up as well. Its a slow and stedy race and not a shitposting spree to get paid.
@OP nothing come for free in this world. This "free money" attitude of shitposters in this forum is the reason why its going to hell.
