Looks like a bye now for the San Antonio Spurs and better luck next playoffs. But who knows if they can still extend the series even in front of the big Golden State Warriors. Looks like the disappearance of Gregg Popovich making them play hard and want to prove that they can still win even without the presense of their coach . This Game 5, their first assistant coach will again act as their head coach.

I must say that it is indeed a great game for the Spurs as they literally bounced back for a win. But, Given the situation warriors might be in a little pressure as the momentum is shifted to Spurs. As I see, Everyone steps up in that game especially Manu, The spurs are truly making things work out up until coach pop returns but nonetheless they are facing Warriors (Home court) which is an additional factor for the GS to seal the series. Steve Kerr will surely adjust this time.
If the Spurs will beat the warriors in game 5, then I would say that we might see a good series, but I would not expect
now because the warriors are really playing well at home and they will do everything to finish the series so they can rest and welcome curry back
in the 2nd round.

Indeed. They really needed to beat the San Antonio Spurs so that they will get a rest instead of having a extended series that might affect some key players. This is the first round, and it should be expected that they will win against Spurs. I don't know if they are pressure though, they just had a bad game and Spurs doesn't want a to sweep in the series. Of course Manu had always at least one big game in a playoff series and definitely he step up for the Spurs to take a win and live another day. Maybe its the last time we are going to see him play.  Sad

I hope not but it's obvious that the spurs are for now, past their dominant selves as in the timmy era. And add the absence of kawhi, not much has been expected from this team. But game 4 showed you why the haven't missed a post season for the longest time. Its about heart. And there's no better example of the spurs' fighting heart than old man manu
