Less volatility is even something we will always get to see with most of the coins anyway so it is one thing we may just have to keep seeing no matter the coin we are gambling with. For low fees and fast confirmations most especially when the whole market of bitcoin is highly congested, I would say it makes more sense to use the coins in these categories and with that, I have always found doge to be more appealing for such.

I personally really do not like making use of Ethereum to gamble anyway when considering other coins that can easily be used asides from bitcoin. There are so many coins with very low fees that one can make use of and really I would even rather use litecoin or doge whenever bitcoin has a congested network. However, now when things are so cool with bitcoin with no much of transaction going on, it has even become very enticing to use bitcoin as well until further notice.
