There are a little possibility but I think it's not gonna happen as long as bitcoin is exist nothing can replace to it from the lead. Although we know that there are a lot of altcoins that also has a nice platform and it perform better in the market so we can see the potential that it has but when it compare to bitcoin, I think altcoin won't be overpass bitcoin because there also possibility that some other coins are base or depends only in bitcoin system.
