For a large conglomerate like Samsung to come into the business of Crytocurrencies, I believe they must have done their research and discovered the importance and potential of Bitcoin. Supporting Bitcoin mining firms with hi-tech mining chip would increase mining capacity and thus more coins are made available to the general public.  This recognition, i believe, would lead to other major players in the same space with Samsung to also come into the building more accessories for the Cryto world.
