Listen, imagining that things work the way you'd want them to rather than as they do is a fine way to ensure you're never challenged by anything, never have to learn, and never do anything useful. It's a bit ridiculous to insist on it around people actually involved in finance, however. Just hang out on your couch, nobody cares.
