In my opinion it is unlikely that bitcoin will destroy the world, on the grounds of what bitcoin destroys the world instead of bitcoin is created to help people.
bitcoin has an anonymous nature so bitcoin can also be used in crime such as fraud, extortion and others that are used online on behalf of bitcoin. so this is what makes people think bitcoin will destroy the world. whereas bitcoin greatly helps the development of the world.
